Dance to Care!

Care to Dance? – 2017!

Saturday, September 9th – 4-9pm

Jerry Willey Plaza at Orenco Station

Learn to dance while supporting community based not-for-profit Care Partners, one of Portland’s oldest and most distinctive hospice and palliative care providers. Your support helps patients and families receive compassionate and exceptional end-of-life care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Eat, drink, listen, watch, dance and enjoy!

This event will have DJ Chris Jones of Norse Hall’s “Saturday Night Fever” playing Swing, Salsa, Tango, and an assortment of other danceable music from 4-7pm, followed by the NoPo Big Band (an awesome 20 piece swing band!), playing tunes from 7-9pm.  Dance instructor Cynthia Hively of Impressions Dance Club will teach mini dance lessons scattered throughout the first 3 hours.  The event will include food and alcoholic drink vendors, as well as many other vendor tents featuring local businesses. Admission is FREE, however, we do encourage attendees to donate, as it is a fundraiser!  Capacity for attendance at the event is 3,000 people.

Forever gratitude…

"So very pleased with the care through Nurses (the best), social workers and especially helpful was the LMT. She helped ease pain and was so good in the process. I can’t say enough about the entire team – I could not have done this without them. Forever gratitude."
